Guitar Wavefolder Pedal

This is a guitar pedal beaded on the YuSynth wavefolder module. I turned this synthesizer module into a guitar pedal by adding a distortion stage at the input and a tone control stage at the output. I also added power supply circularity to power the pedal on a 9V battery.

Compared to the original, the voltage-controlled amplifier input is removed and replaced with a distortion stage that can be used by the musician to control the volume of what's going into the wavefolder. In addition, a tone control stage is added after the output to add more versatility to the design. The pedal uses a TL074 op amp and is powered by a single 9V battery.

The Yunsynth Wavefolder circuit uses op-amps and diodes to perform a non-linear transformation of a simple waveshape (triangle or sawtooth) into a complex waveform rich in overtones. In the guitar pedal design, only the circuit to the right of R11 is used.

The wavefolder pedal uses the wavefolding stage in the Yusynth module, but adds an input state with a distortion control pot and a tone control stage at the output. It also adds a power supply circuit that can provide dual power rails to the TL074 op amp with a 9V battery.
